In the meeting the guideline of the Krishi Kalyan Abhiyan(KKA) provided by Govt of India, its implementation strategies , monitoring of the programme through INAPH were discussed in threadbare along with field issues like manpower constraints in the field( especially shortage of drivers in the FSBs for distribution of semen and Liquid nitrogen), flood situations and deputation of field staff in the NRC etc. The meeting nominated 7 officers as Nodal officers from the 7 aspirational districts selected under KKA to supervise the implementation of 3 main KKA objectives- 100% FMD vaccination, 100% PPR vaccination and Artificial insemination of local cows with semen of high yielding Indigenous breed to produce 100 cross bred calves. The district officers according to the KKA guideline will report in daily basis to adjuscent Krishi Vikash Kendras for uploading the reports to Govt of India.
